The airspace layer

One perimeter.Six layers. One command.

Intruders look for the weakest point, over the fence, under it, through the roof or from the air. That is why D-FENCE builds perimeter protection in layers: each layer detects on its own, and every alarm lands on one command screen. Every D-FENCE product is a layer of one PIDS.

D-FENCE NEWS, Innovation in security.

PIDS, explained.

Short answers about perimeter intrusion detection systems, and how D-FENCE does it.

What is a Perimeter Intrusion Detection System (PIDS)?

A PIDS detects and locates an attempt to breach a site's boundary, climbing, cutting, lifting or digging, and raises an alarm in the control room with the exact zone, so cameras and response teams can act at once. D-FENCE PIDS turn fences, walls, gates, roofs and even floors into sensors.

How does D-FENCE detection work?

Patented strain-gauge pressure sensors measure real mechanical load, the weight of a person on a wall crown, the pull on a taut wire, the force on a fence panel. Because they respond to load rather than to vibration, they are built for minimized false alarms from wind, rain, birds and small animals.

Can it be installed on an existing fence or wall?

Yes. D-Taut Wire, D-Corative, D-Pressure Strip and D-Tech can be added to existing fences, walls and copings, or delivered as a complete new detection line.

How fast is an intrusion reported?

From contact to alert in under 3 seconds, with the zone that was touched, so the nearest camera can be on target immediately.

Does it integrate with cameras, VMS and command systems?

Yes. D-FENCE controllers connect through dry contacts, RS232 / RS485 and IP interfaces, and D-Command Control shows every sensor, camera and alarm on one geolocated map, in the control room or on a phone.

Is the technology patented?

Yes. D-FENCE sensor technology is covered by an international PCT application (WO 2022/264140) and seven granted Chinese patents and utility models.
